Help Keep Our Community Safe During the World Cup |
||
|
Dear Residents,
With the excitement of the World Cup building, we want to take a moment to remind everyone to stay alert and help keep our neighbourhood safe.
Unfortunately, large sporting events can sometimes see an increase in anti-social behaviour, particularly involving proxy purchasing (where adults buy alcohol or other restricted items on behalf of under‑18s). This can lead to disorder, noise complaints, and risk to young people.
We’ve attached a World Cup-themed poster. We would be grateful if you could take a moment to read them and share the message with friends and family.
How you can help: If you witness any incidents of anti-social behaviour or proxy purchasing, please report this via 101, through your local policing team, or via Neighbourhood Link. In an emergency, always call 999.
Thank you for your continued support in keeping our community safe and enjoyable for everyone during the tournament.
Kind regards,
Your local Belgrave beat team
